Monthly rates are based on an average of four appointments per month.  Please note that there may be three, four, or five appointments in some months, depending on the day of the week a weekly appointment falls.  This does not affect the monthly rate.  Charging the same price every month to all our clients significantly reduces our administrative costs and keeps our rates lower than they would be otherwise. 

 

If a current weekly student would like an additional appointment, that appointment will be at the rate of $75 per hour. Other family members who wish to schedule single appointments, however, will be at the single appointment rate of $90 per hour.

 

Tuition Payment Methods

 

Potomac tutors accepts Visa and MasterCard. Payments by credit card receive a $30 discount. Returned checks are subject to an additional fee of $45 per check. We do not accept cash payments of any kind.

 

Timing of Tuition Payments

Monthly Tuition is due on the first of the month. For those paying by credit card, Potomac Tutors processes payments on or soon after the first of each month.  No refunds are issued for mid-month cancellations.

 

Additional or Single Appointment Tuition is processed on the Friday following the appointment for clients with a credit card on file. Check payers must pay within 48 hours of appointment reservation.

  

Late Fee

A late fee of $30 applies for payments received more than 5 days after their due date.  If tuition payments are consistently late, Potomac Tutors reserves the right to cancel a student’s reserved time slot.
