Financial Rates and Policies

***Credit card payments receive a $30 discount per payment

Monthly Tuition			Payment is due on the 1^st of the month.

Summer Tuition			Payment is due at the times listed below:
	Single appointment		$105	Due when appointment is reserved.
	Block of 4 hours		$230	Due on the date of the first appointment.

Monthly rates are based on an average of four appointments per month. Please note that there may be three or five appointments in some months, depending on the day of the week a weekly appointment falls. This does not affect the monthly rate. Charging the same price every month to our clients significantly reduces our administrative costs and keeps our rates lower than they would be otherwise.

If a current weekly student would like an additional appointment, that appointment will be at a rate of $82 per hour. Other family members who wish to schedule single appointments, who are NOT weekly clients, will be charged the single appointment rate.

Timing of Tuition Payments

Monthly tuition is due on the first of the month. For those paying by credit card, Potomac Tutors processes payments on about the first of each month. Potomac Tutors accepts Visa and MasterCard. Payments by credit card receive a $30 discount. Returned checks are subject to an additional fee of $ 45 per check. Potomac Tutors does not accept cash payments of any kind. No refunds are issued for mid-month cancellations.

Non-Monthly appointment tuition is processed on the Thursday following the appointment for clients with a credit card on file. Check payers must pay within 48 hours of appointment reservation.

Late Fee

A late fee of $30 applies for payments received more than 5 days after their due date. If tuition payments are consistently late, Potomac Tutors reserves the right to cancel a student’s reserved time slot.
